Memories by Ad(rian) Hoogenbosch:
Grandpa moved to a house in Geldrop near Eindhoven. It was a nice house, two stories and with a straw roof. The garden had a pond and there was a large birdhouse. Several peacocks lived in that garden. Grandpa must have been in his seventies then when he put me on his knees and taught me naughty poems to the chagrins of aunty Mary. Aunty Mary was his housekeeper. Her full name was Maria Kuyten, the sister of my maternal grandfather

Memories by Josephine Hoogenbosch:
We were staying with our grandfather while our parents were on holliday. Sitting at the dinner table he told us that he knew a tric. He could take his teeth out his mouth and so he did. We were completely flabergasted.
